Free Website Directories, Blog Directories and Social Bookmarking Sites
I guess I should post something that you might find useful. Below is a short, but growing list of directories and social bookmarking websites where you can spread your blog and website links around. This is the first thing you should be looking at for free traffic and back links to your blog or website!
I will keep it updated with new directories and sites than I find. Any sites that are defunct or are NOT free to submit to will be removed. Keep in mind that a lot of the free directories also have paid submissions, which generally list your site faster or give you a better position.
Paid-only directories will be added at the very bottom in their own category in case you’re interested.
